Going back to work after the holidays was tough, but thank goodness for another long weekend.
On Friday night, the girls came together for a ladies' night at Katharine's place. It was going to be Wendy's last girls' night, as she made the big decision to uproot and relocate her life in Boston.
On Saturday, I spent the day with Gail hanging out at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market and running errands in Union Square. On Saturday night, Will and I had dinner with Ian and Catherine at Mission Beach Cafe (fantastic sturgeon entree!).
It turned out to be quite the Mission Beach weekend, as we went back there for brunch on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, Will, Key, JoJo and I went to Kabuki to see Avatar in 3D. Awesome.
On Monday, Will and I headed down to Santa Clara to have dinner with Angie and the cute family before we headed to the Sharks vs. Flames game.
We had pretty sweet seats:
The game turned out to be quite the shellacking, the Sharks took down the Flames 9-1, and it was one of the fastest games I've been to (done in ~2 hours, 40 minutes). It was great to see San Jose rock the house, but I was sad for my Flames, I wanted it to be a better game. Alas...
Hope you all had a fantastic MLK long weekend!
