On "Boxing Day", the adult kids (Angie, Jack, Terrina, Will and I) headed to meet up with the JP and Sam Shipherd for lunch at Dinosaur BBQ. JP was Will's former manager at Nuance and now both he and Sam are good friends with Angie & Jack. Hooray for small world connections!
The boys enjoyed some local PorkSlap pale ale:
Some touring in downtown Troy, we ran into Uncle Sam:

And then it snowed. A lot.
Will and I were supposed to head back to NY on Monday, but alas, the weather and subsequent chaos delayed us for a day. Instead, I shoveled snow for 1.5 hours and lost feeling in my forearms, but it was a great workout.
Just in case you want to know what I've been getting up to in San Francisco...or wherever I am in the world.

Ho! Ho! Ho!
December 23, 2010
Will and I flew from SFO to JFK on Wednesday (12/22), and spent the night in Manhattan in the Midtown area. We treated ourselves to some burgers from Shake Shack, grabbed a drink at some bar on W 44th that was playing hockey, and then got some shut-eye.
On Thursday, we grabbed breakfast at Dean and Deluca, before trudging down to Penn Station to grab the train to Albany-Renssaler.
It was great to see the family, we grabbed dinner at a vietnamese restaurant that my sister had found in Albany with pretty good pho.

Christmas eve!
Angie whips up some awesome Guiness-braised short ribs and a bunch of fixin's, and my Mom found some lobster tails on sale. Let the eat-fest begin!
One of Olivia's many letters to Santa:
The kids in the Christmas pajamas that I had gotten for them:
The kids with grandparents in front of a massive chocolate Bernard Callebaut Santa that some good family friends had sent.
A little pre-Christmas breakdancing session:

Merry Christmas!
Dad's famous prime rib:
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas day!
