Celebrity Autobiography 2013

Every year, I'm slow off the start to get tickets for the prime events that are part of the 2-week SF Sketchfest. Most of the great shows were already sold out, so we headed to our standby that's usually entertaining, "Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter".

This year's lineup was the best to date: Jennifer Coolidge, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Janeane Garafalo, Fred Willard, Roger Bart, Laraine Newman, and a few more. 

Good times, but I hope to get on the tickets earlier next year to check out something new.

Homemade Brunch & Schulzies

On Sunday, Will and I headed over to Cindy and Adam's for brunch and to check out their newly renovated home and see how big the twins are getting! Wendy, Eric, Alex and Shane joined us too.

After brunch, we headed to Hayes Valley to check out the new bread pudding place, Schulzies, which we had been waiting for quite some time to open.

Verdict: tasty but pretty "pudding"-y bread pudding. Will, the expert of bread pudding, was not a fan, he likes warm bread pudding.

Tahoe!

Will and I spent the weekend in Tahoe with Whitney, Jon, Ashley and Paul. We had the pleasure of staying at Whit's family house close to Squaw Valley. It was the chilliest that I've ever experienced in Tahoe, and even though there was no new snow, there cold temps maintained the snow quite well.

We skiied Northstar on the Saturday and Squaw Valley on the Sunday. And all I've got for photo evidence of the weekend is the picture of this awesome hot coffee drink at the Northstar Ritz-Carlton to show for it:

On our way back to Vancouver from Whistler, Will and I stopped in at AAA+L's new home in North Vancouver to say hi (at least to Arissa, Aisha and Lulu, Adam's on the road...again!).

And then to Will's bro's house to see the family, the boys are getting so big! And Dexter is a mobile monster!

On Tuesday, Will and I squeezed in an awesome sushi lunch at Sushi Yama before heading to the airport to fly back to SF...I heart Vancouver cheap sushi!

Thanks to family and friends for the good times over quick visits!!

Will and I headed up to Whistler for the MLK Jr long weekend. Yay, skiing! With ski dad, Kenny!
