AFC @ Hakkasan

The AFC headed to downtown SF on Wednesday to check out Hakkasan and its fancy chinese food.

Fancy drinks:

Hakka steamed dim sum sampler of scallop shumai, har gau, Chinese chive dumpling and black pepper duck dumpling:

Jasmine tea smoked beef short rib:

Stir-fry black pepper beef ribeye with merlot:

Truffle braised noodle with crabmeat and scallop:

Bok choy:

Braised pork belly with aged vinegar sauce:

For dessert, the coconut pearl pudding with carmelized spiced pineapples and lime financier:

The dinner was fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

America's Cup 2013

San Francisco has been taken over by Americas Cup events since last year. We finally got a chance to check it out, courtesy of Damien, Woody and the boys, who set up an amazing viewing center at Crissy Field.

It's days like this that make me fall in love with San Francisco all over again.

On Friday night, Will and I made our way across the new east span of the Bay Bridge (pretty!) and headed to the Greek Theater in Berkeley to see a concert featuring Tegan & Sara opening for Fun.

On Tuesday night, I joined Team Genentech at the annual JP Morgan Corporate Chase Challenge, a 3.5 mile run.

Vulcan-Calgary 2013

For the Labor Day weekend, Will and I headed up to Vulcan/Calgary to hang out with my parents and do a little golfing.

On Sunday, we headed up to Sunday and we had lunch with a bunch of Calgary pals, including my ladies!

In the afternoon before our flight, Will and I went skeet shooting at a sport club by Carstairs with Tyler and Karolina:
