It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since Charlotte (Char-Char) and Simon (Simey) were born. Despite the precarious beginnings, the two little ones have flourished and are now tipping the scales in size and cuteness.
Simon has defiantly surpassed his (two minutes) older sister in development, as he as eight teeth (Charlotte has two) and is crawling (Charlotte can't get her one leg out of her way, as shown below).
They like to compete for similar toys or objects, with Charlotte often using brute force to get her way.
For dinner, Angie and Jack whipped up an awesome meal with bbq chicken, kalbi ribs, stir-fried greens, rice and of course, cupcakes.
Apparently, both babies are not big fans of birthday hats:
By the time we had birthday cake, the twins were very tired and not very sociable.
Olivia was in good spirits, excited to have birthday celebrations, cupcakes and presents that she could open in the house. She volunteered to open all the birthday gifts because "Char-Char and Simey are too little to open their own gifts". She's going to be a tough negotiator when she gets older.
