SUNDAY (November 14)
We flew to Liberia, Costa Rica on Saturday, via Houston. We had the same itineraries as Adam, Arissa and Aisha, so it was good to catch up en route. It was a long day, and we landed in Liberia around 8 PM, with a 1 hour shuttle ride to our all-inclusive resort, Paradisus Playa Conchal.
Playa Conchal is considered to be one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica, and is in the Guanacaste province, just south of a town called Brasilito, and north of surf town Tamarindo. We were pretty excited to be right there.
On Monday morning, Will and I slept in so long that we missed the window of breakfast, but it was obviously needed. I hadn't slept longer than 6 hours in such a long time.
We had no idea what this was, but apparently it's a ring-tailed Coatis, and these little guys were everywhere around the resort.
