Thursday (7/7):
On Thursday afternoon, Will and I picked up Kenny and Double A at the airport and hit the road to Tahoe. We were psyched for a long weekend, as our good friend Abe was getting hitched to his lovely lady, Wendy. The wedding was taking place at Northstar-At-Tahoe, and we had rented a condo a couple minutes from the village.
When we got up to the mountain, we had a quick dinner and then headed over to Abe's family rental house to hang out and wish Abe's sister, Yasha, a happy birthday.
Friday (7/8):
On Friday morning, I had a couple work calls, made breakfast, and headed over to the village to hang out with Abe for a little bit. The boys stumbled upon some games in the Village, and I haven't laughed so hard as when I was watching Will and Kenny play tetherball.
Abe had to take off for some wedding-related stuff, so Will, Kenny and I went for a hike around Northstar on the Tompkins Memorial Trail. It was rather hot out, but a lovely hike.
After the hike, we headed over to the Rec Center to the lovely adults pool, and then meandered back to the condo. On the way home, we went off-trail, and we came across a little creek. Kenny chose to try to cross the creek instead of taking the log over, and...we spent some time looking for his flip flops.
We headed over to the Cabana Bar by the roller rink in the Village for a pre-wedding happy hour:
Saturday (7/9):
On Saturday morning, we made breakfast and while some of the boys went to play disc golf, and a few of us headed over to Lake Tahoe to Carnelian Bay so some folks could go paddle-boarding.
And...time for the wedding! The wedding was held mid-way up the mountain, so we all took the gondola up to the site.
The wedding was a beautiful combination that celebrated Abe's Jewish faith and Wendy's Christian faith, and was moderated by Barry and Mark, respectively. Will was honored to hold one part of the chuppah (which was constructed by Abe's family the day before).
Here comes the beautiful bride (even the mountain bike riders couldn't help but stop and watch):
Mazel Tov!

And then...the dancing!
It was a beautiful day and a super-fun night. Huge congratulations to our wonderful friends, Abe and Wendy!
