Will and I headed home to Vulcan to hang out with my parents for a few days. The best part of Vulcan is how relaxing it is, and we get to do some really fun stuff (e.g. fish with my Dad, golf on a mellow but challenging course, eat really good food, read my Mom's trashy pop culture magazines, etc.). It's awesome.
On most mornings, we got up super early to go fishing on Dad's boat at Little Bow Lake (when the fish are biting, of course!). We got lots of bites, and a few keepers (I caught a Walleye on the first day!).
See below for some pics from the week of activities, mostly fishing pics.

Oh, and in case you actually read the blog, here's a picture of Will and I after he proposed to me on the green of the 18th hole on the Wednesday. That's right, we're engaged. But to pre-empt all the inevitable questions: we plan on having a long engagement, don't know where, when, how, who, etc. yet.

On the Sunday, we stopped off at Sonia's house to say hello to the family before heading off to the airport. Check out Sonia's adorable son, Sascha, who has done his hair just like "Dash" from the movie "The Incredibles"...so cute:

What a great trip home!
