Busy week, lazy blog poster, doing a summary of the week in one blogspot.
On Monday night, I had some of the ladies over to tell them the good news. The fun part is telling everyone, and we've been trying to spread the cheer in person, apologies if we haven't gotten to you yet!
Katharine had a preview of the news, so she surprised us with cupcakes for dessert. Mine had an extra accessory:

On Thursday night, Double A stayed at our place (he was in town for work stuff with Barefoot/Mondavi) and we all went for dinner with Adam at Bar Crudo (yum!):
On Friday night, Will and I met up with Robert and Sue Hee for dinner and a concert. We started in Hayes Valley at Patxi's Pizza (they have an awesome thin crust...yay!). After dinner, we headed to the Rickshaw Stop to catch Tokyo Police Club (in town for Outside Lands). There were a couple fantastic opening bands (The Arkells and Freelance Whales), and one stinker (A, B and The Sea).

We got great seats on the balcony:

Tokyo Police Club:

The show was awesome, though Tokyo Police Club didn't take the stage until after 12:15 AM, so it was a late show. They played my favorite hits ("Your English is Good", "Tesselate", "Wait Up [Boots of Danger]", "Nature of the Experiment", "Be Good"), and they sound super solid live. Awesome band. Thanks to Robert for getting the tickets!
