On Monday night, the Asian Foodie Club (AFC) finally got a chance to check out the new hot-spot restaurant, Rich Table, in Hayes Valley. We ordered a bunch of dishes and shared them family-style.
To start, some dried porcini mushroom doughnuts with raclette, and the sardine chips with horseradish:
Lamb tartare with green shallot and pickled shallots:
Cured hamachi with tokyo turnips, and bone marrow:
Tajarin with house-cultured butter and perigord black truffles:
Tagliatelle with squab, charred cabbage, and caraway:
Miso-glazed carrots:
For dessert, the buttermilk panna cotta with dried apricot and honey comb:
I loved our meal at Rich Table, and we didn't even get to try any of the mains (didn't get past the entrees!). Can't wait to come back with Will.
