On Friday night after work, I headed down to Santa Clara to hang out with my sis and the kiddies. Angie's good friend, Andrea, and her son, Dominic, were also there for me to catch up with. There was dinner (lasagne!), crazy kids, and gingerbread houses to be made. It was messy.
I helped Simon make his house, and in attempting to create a snowy look with lots of icing on the roof, we created a gingerbread house with a roof that was too heavy for the infrastructure to maintain. Oops! It was fun, and Simon loves icing.
I'm looking forward to the holidays with the family in Santa Clara...whee!
