On Monday night, the SFUC captain's dinner took place, a long-standing tradition in which the volunteer captains are treated to a raucous night of drinking and eating. There are sixteen teams with two captains each (one chick, one dude), but 20 or so folks could make it this time.
As with the last couple years, we headed to Buca di Beppo in SOMA for dinner. It's decent food, great for groups, yadiyada.
Did you know that the decorative wine jugs and cans of peppers are not actually filled with wine and peppers? Trust us on this one...

We tortured the rookie captains with shots...
Here's me and my co-captain Shaun:
I had the best time co-captaining with Shaun this year. Our team was named "Seymour Butz", and we had a wonderfully fun and talented team. Shaun and I drafted these folks using the following criteria:
- Known drinkers
- From a Commonwealth country
- Known women receivers
Our team drink was the "Rumble", and we are definitely going to try to re-draft this team. Go Butz!
Adios SFUC 2006-2007 Season, it's been a gooder!
