Key bought his studio condo (or is it a junior 1 bedroom?) in the fall of 2005, and he finally got around to having a housewarming...which is better than Abe can say. Will, Wendy, Ashley, Abe, Anna and I joined Key for nibblies and a blind pinot noir tasting on Wednesday night.

Key was ambitious and opened 6 bottles of pinot noir for us to try...
As usual, we had too much food:- albacore tuna poke
- guacamole and chips
- gruyere cheese fondue with almond bread (from Tartine Bakery) and Granny Smith apples
- cheese and crackers
- herbed and peppered dried salami
- petite crab cakes
- bacon-wrapped scallops
- fresh veggies and fruit

Key treated us to a chocolate mousse cake from Tartine bakery with vanilla bean ice cream. This cake was soooo good.
Kat had a family dinner, so she showed up after dinner to catch up with everyone and get a nibble of the cake.
The wines unblinded...
Hooray for housewarmings! Congrats (belated) on his "new" home!
