On Saturday night, Will and I joined a schwack of other folks at the Tonga Room to celebrate Ray's birthday (e.g. becoming an even older fogey). In case you've never been there, the Tonga Room is a fantastically cheesy bar in the Fairmont Hotel (which has been rumored to be closing for years now). They serve awesome sweet fruity drinks to share (e.g. lava bowls, scorpion bowls), and have a lagoon in the middle of the bar with a floating stage where the house band performs.
