On Friday after work, I met up with Wendy and Donna for pedicures in the Haight, and then we met up wil Will to head downtown to meet up with Katharine at a block party in the Financial District.
The block party was held in the alley next to Aventine Taverna, located right across the street from the Trans America Building. This happy hour shindig also served to raise funds for the City of Dreams, a non-profit organization that provides mentorship to low income youth.
From the block party, we wandered over to Chinatown to grab sushi at Floating Boat Sushi Restaurant.
The aftermath:
The sushi was alright, seems like quite the tourist trap.
